Amrumbank West Offshore Wind Farm

05 Apr 2021: Deutsche Bahn has secured a second 15 year CPPA with RWE for generation from Amrumbank. This CPPA covers 190 GWh/year (corresponding to ~ 6 days electric rail operation for Germany), and grants Deutsche Bahn a market share of approximately one third of green electricity contracts in Germany (without funding from the Renewable Energy Sources Act). The CPPA will be active from 2025.
