Offshore Wind farms in Canada

Canada has 35 offshore wind farm projects of which none currently operating, none where construction has progressed enough to connect the turbines and generate electricity, none are in the build phase, and none are either consented or have applied for consent. on project 'Nova East Wind' on Wednesday, 23 August 2023, the following was announced: 'DP Energy and SBM Offshore have announced plans to work together for floating wind in Canada, and have specifically announced their first project as Nova East Wind, to be a 300-400 MW floating wind farm located 20-30 km off Goldboro, Nova Scotia.'
