01 Dec 2023: Update July 2023: RVO expect to publish the final arrangements for the Alpha and Beta Wind Farm Sites in the Government Gazette in Q4 2023. The application period for these sites closes on 28 March 2024 at 5:00 PM. Update June 2022: According to the offshore wind 2030+ Roadmap, tenders for Ijmuiden Ver III and IV will be tendered alongside sites I and II in Q4 2023 as opposed to 2025. Tender discussions are in progress and further details are expected after the summer. Ijmuiden Ver III & IV will be commissioned in 2028 and I&II in 2029. A tender to develop IJVWFS V and VI is scheduled to open in 2025. update 5/4/19: IJmuiden Ver I and II will be tendered in Q4 2023 for commissioning 2027-2028. IJmuiden Ver III and IV will be tendered in Q4 2025 for commissioning 2029-2030. According to a letter by Eric Wiebes, Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Tender is expected to take place in 2023, with commissioning during 2027. Two options are being considered for 4GW IJmuiden Ver area, four annual tenders of 1GW or two tenders of 2GW to be held in 2023 and 2025.
